An example of a perfect classic Indonesian bean. A composite blend of Arabica grown in 3 seprate regions of Java. Jampit, Kallisat, and Pancer have been producing very bold and intense coffees grown in rich volcanic soil with an ample supply of water for hundreds of years. These beans are slow roasted to a very dark profile. Notes of smokey campfire, burnt sugar caramel, mollasses, and cocoa blend together to exeplify the essence of BOLD and thick like a funky coffee syrup. Aromas abound with the presence of burnt cedar, prunes, and caramel. A muted acidity and an exceptionally heavy body/mouth feel make for a very satisfying experience. Perfect evening coffee that melds well with red wine and semi-sweet chocolate.
